What's making this wheel tick?
On the driver side front wheel, I hear a ticking sound which starts out slightly and gradually gets louder as I drive.

I washed the wheel with water and the sound went away until I drove the car for awhile, then the sound came back.

What do you think it could be?

The ticking sound may be an indicator that you need the axel fixed. Ask your mechanic.

For the axel to be fixed depending on make, model and year of your car costs about $85.00-$200.00.

Good luck!
