What might cause this thud when I turn?
My 2001 Ford Taurus has a thud sound.

When I make a turn it makes a thud noise like something is loose.

Could this be caused by a broken tie rod end?

It is likely that a broken tie rod would make the car unable to be -steered and controlled.

Possibly a control arm or tie rod end is bent or the wheel is out of alignment.
