What could cause this clicking sound?

Whenever I turn my air condition on a loud clicking sound happens. Can you please tell me what this might be?

The A/C uses relays to control its operation. These relays turn several electrical components on & off. Some of these relays are noisy and can be heard as they open and close the electrical circuits.

If the A/C is working OK, these are likely normal for your brand and model.
